TERMS OF BUSINESS

1. The terms and conditions apply to information shown on the Three Treasures Butsudan website and apply to the ordering of any product form the website.  By placing an order you agree to and accept these terms and conditions.

2. The laws of England and Wales, whether for use of the site or in relation to the purchase of products or services through the site will govern any contract between us.  If there is any dispute, English Law will have exclusive jurisdiction.

3. Three Treasures Butsudans is a trademark of and/or our affiliates in the UK and other countries.  The material on this website is copyright to Three Treasures Butsudans or our content and technology providers.  Any sections may be printed off for your personal use but not for use commercially or for re-publication.  Any infringement of our copyright will result in legal action being taken.

4. Three Treasures Butsudans shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage, which may arise from the use of any information contained in any of the materials used on this website.  Neither will Three Treasures Butsudans accept any responsibility or liability for any personal injury howsoever caused by use or misuse of any of our products.

5. Website Information

All information is considered accurate. However, we make no representation and give no warranty of any kind in respect of the information.  The information, prices and discounts are subject to change without notice.  Any changes to the terms and conditions will be posted on this website.

6. Description of Products

Descriptions and specifications of products on the website are only approximate and we reserve the right to make changes which do not materially affect the quality or performance of those products.

7. Ordering Products

Ordering products shown on the website is done by submitting a completed order form via the Postal Service.  We will confirm acceptance of your order by email to the address you supplied and the sending of this email (whether or not it is received) confirms the contract between us.  All terms are subject to our Production Procedure.

8. Prices and Payment

The price of the products will be the price quoted on the website at the time we accept your order but does not include delivery.  Delivery charges vary according to the type of order.  Cheques require 7 days clearance before despatch of goods.  Payment by other means is subject to English Contract Law.

All prices are shown in (UK) Pounds Sterling.  We reserve the right to amend any product cost without prior notice.  Any changes in pricing structure will be posted on our website and become effective immediately.  Orders in production during any price revision will be unaffected.  Prices may vary due to currency fluctuations.

9. Property Ownership

All goods remain the property of Three Treasures Butsudans until full payment has been received and funds cleared.  Ownership is then transferred under English Law to the named individual shown on our order form.

10. Production Procedure
 
All products available from Three Treasures Butsudans are uniquely hand-built in response to individual orders.  Our normal manufacturing programme for each item takes approximately 28 days from receipt of your order.  We aim to achieve this time scale on every occasion, however, events beyond our control may sometimes lead to a delay in production.  You should allow up to 45 days for completion of your order.  We will keep you informed by email of any eventuality which might delay the delivery date of your item.

11. Cancellation of Orders

The purchaser has the right to cancel in writing the contract for the purchase of any item within 7 days of receipt of the Three Treasures Butsudans order acknowledgement

All our products are manufactured at the request and to the specification of the purchaser and as such orders cannot be cancelled after the expirency of the aforementioned 7 day period. Failure to advise us in writing within the 7 day period stated will result in the purchaser being liable for all funds due against their submitted signed order form.

12. Refunds

In the event of the cancellation of a legitimate order within the stated 7 day period, Three Treasures Butsudans will refund all monies paid in advance less £27.00 administration fee.  Any refund agreed will be issued within 7 working days.


13. Guarantee

A Three Treasures Butsudan carries an unconditional 12 month guarantee from the date of purchase against poor workmanship and defective materials (excluding transit damage and normal wear and tear) which render the product purchased direct from us unfit for its purpose.  Should this prove to be the case, we will replace any item without question, subject to satisfactory documentary evidence and our agreement in writing.  Please note you will be responsible for the costs of returning any defective goods.

14. Security and Privacy

Three Treasures Butsudans is committed to protecting your security and privacy because your peace of mind is important to us.  We use the information provided by you to enhance your overall shopping experience and assist your visit to the site.  Three Treasures Butsudans does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
